A Quick ROW80 Update

Llama rolling in the dirt. Yes, they really do this.
It's late, and I've just finished the rewrites goal I set last check in. I did not, however, get the prologue written. I am thinking it might be best to wait until the end of the rewrites to do that; I think I need to revisit the original material in its entirety before I try to write a brand new prologue. But I am on track for the goals I've set, and am really pleased with how it is going. I am also going to have switch focus and pay some attention to the PR part of this book launch. I'm developing a schedule, and the good folks at CQ already have a lot of this planned for me. Short update, I know, but this has been a week to pay more attention to writing and launching as opposed to my blog. :( I do so love my blog. I keep reminding myself things won't always be this hectic and hey, I really do love what I'm doing. So in the meantime,  enjoy this picture of life on a llama farm.

    1. Ask and receive...
Seriously, I am a writing fool lately. Don't know what's gotten into me. I think some muse has been spiking my coffee. But I'm not complaining!!!!

    2. Yay for muse-spiked coffee!!! If there were a way for me to send you some more to keep you going in times of...well...muse-less-ness??...I totally would. Since, alas, there is nowhere to purchase some of this amazing stuff, I shall continue to cheer you on instead! But don't ask me to do any acrobatics whilst cheering. Bad things... O_o
I will pick up some pom-poms if you need it, tho. :D

  2. Yes yes! Please keep writing! I am sooooo happy to read that Asheroth will be getting his own book. And I have to agree that it should be epic. A novella isn't nearly enough! I loved that blog you wrote a while back where he "took over" and imprisoned you- what was it- "Coup de Blog and Villainous Guest Post." Yes, that's it- that was so funny. And on Easter weekend too! Can't wait to see what happens to him during the end of the trilogy. Keep up the good work!

    1. Asheroth is destined for great things, never fear. My love for him knows no bounds. And not much longer for the full, novel-length, bonus-material-included version of Blood Redemption! Don't forget to sign up for my newsletter- there's lots of subscribers-only exclusive info as release day approaches!

  3. Wait, so are you saying you live on a llama farm??? Interesting. I live on a tortoise farm. (I call it the zoo.) We've got five so far, but somehow the collection keeps growing!

SOOOOO happy to hear that you're writing again! Yay! Can't wait to see what happens in both of your series.

    1. I keep meaning to do a post about life on a llama farm. Llamas don't really *do* anything, you know. You can't eat them (as far as I know), you can't ride them.... really they're just here to eat the grass, I think. But there are so many of them that it qualifies as a farm. Five tortoises, huh? That's enough to keep you busy ;) Life on exotic farms... I find it pretty conducive to writing. Or at least weird blog posts. :) Hope all is well with you and that your writing is proceeding as well!
