Short Sunday Update

Hello! Nearly-teenagers can eat a lot of Christmas cookies, so I'm going to make this quick so I can go restock. Strictly for them, mind you. I don't want any Christmas cookies. Of course not! :)
It's update time, so I'm here with a recap of the week's activities:
1. Working on publisher deadlines, I'm over halfway done with the second Chronicles of Nowhere book, Shadowed Ground. It feels weird to be working on a second book while waiting for the first one's publication, but I've been getting a whole lot of writing done, at least. This week clocks in at around 4,000 words.
2. Editing proceeds at a breakneck pace: not only my own, but for others. They seem pleased, though, and have requested to keep working with me.
3. Publicity/ book stuff: Make sure to check out the IBC's 12 Days of Christmas Blowout, where lots of ebooks are on sale for 99 cents. I helped make the banner!

That's really it for today, besides Christmas cookies and cold weather. Thanks, and happy writing!

  1. Speaking of books... So hey, when does the 3rd book come out? I've got birthday money burning a HOLE in my pocket!!!

  2. It looks like you're doing great!
    Have a nice week =)

  3. sounds like a good week - go cook those cookies - for the kids of course - all the best for this week
